Tyre company Kingsway Tyres has opened a new centre in Nottinghamshire and created two new jobs.
The new premises at Retford cost the company nearly £450,000. The centre now provides MOT testing alongside replacement and repair of tyres, alignment and air-con services. The brand has 16 sites across the East of England.
If you move into new premises or carry out improvement work to your existing site, it’s wise to check your insurance policy to make sure you are adequately covered. New equipment and a higher value site will all make a difference to your policy. It’s also a good time to decide whether you need more than a motor trades insurance policy and whether you ought to upgrade to a combined motor trade insurance.
Kingsway Tyres said the new centre was “an exciting new chapter” for the brand and the team in Retford.
Centre manager Dave Spooner said: “To be able to boast these facilities at a brand new centre is such a boost for us. We hope that motorists will benefit from an even better service and we look forward to welcoming them onto the forecourt.”
The company moved from its previous Retford site in Victoria Road after outgrowing the site. Moving to the new centre has allowed the business to offer new services, such as MOTs, and provides better access for motorists.
Kingsway’s general manager Martin O’Brien said: “We have already welcomed so many new and old customers in our first week, so it has been a really encouraging start to life at Trinity Park Industrial Estate.
“We are extremely pleased to be investing in Retford once again and look forward to another 40 years of serving both commercial businesses and private motorists.”
