Bollington Insurance is proud to announce that we are sponsoring a charity boxing event at The Sheridan Suite in Manchester on Saturday, 15th June.
The event is being held by Longsight Sports & Boxing Club, who were founded in 2013 with the aim of supporting young people in the community through sport. The club is now looking to register as a community focussed charity, working to improve the lives of residents in Longsight and surrounding areas.
Bollington Insurance are proud to be one of the main sponsors of the event, which is being held in memory of Yousef Makki, the teenager from Hale Barns who tragically became a victim of knife crime earlier this year.
Improving young lives
The primary aim of the community charity is to ensure young people steer clear of gangs and use their energy productively, keeping them off the streets and helping them towards a more positive future.

Tables at the event cost £500 for a table of 10 at the ringside and £400 for a table of 10 in the outer ring and include a three-course meal and access to a dry bar.
