Fiat Chrysler Motor Village UK is to supply luxury cars to high-end retailer Harvey Nichols for its winter events campaign.
The store is running a promotion called Britalia, which focuses on Italian style in Britain. The flagship dealer will be supplying cars for events including wine tasting at the Italian Embassy in London and a VIP cocktail reception.
Cars including the Fiat 500 Riva and 124 Spider, Abarth 595C Competizione and 124 Spider, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Renegade, and Alfa Romeo Giulia and 4C Spider will also be showcased at the central London store.
If you are supplying cars for promotional purposes, it’s important to check that you have the correct insurance policy to cover them in case of damage or accidents. Make sure your motor trade insurance policy provides coverage for taking cars out of the showroom to act as advertising tools.
The partnership will promote Fiat Chrysler Motor Village UK’s vehicles at Harvey Nichols’ Knightsbridge department store for the rest of the month, with the luxury vehicles parked outside.
The dealership, which is based in Marylebone in London, also features on a video on the shop’s website. It shows Fiat director Lapo Elkann driving a Fiat 500 Riva to the showroom in an additional promotional tie-up for an Italian sunglasses brand.
Fabio di Prima, managing director of Motor Village UK, said: “All of us at Motor Village UK are proud and excited to officially announce the co-marketing agreement as official car partner to Harvey Nichols.
“The collaboration for such an important celebration of Italian culture is an excellent one for Motor Village UK, and we look forward to working with Harvey Nichols.”
